Online Degrees - What Online College Is The Best?

c p posted: 22 Sep at 8:50 pm
It depends on the university. Some traditional universities now offer online programs. So, if you’re getting a degree from the online version of Georgetown, that will have more weight than the typical online university because it is associated with a reputable school.
Otherwise, it only helps you get a promotion at your existing job. I don’t think many employers give it as much weight as a traditional degree from a traditional university.

I attended a college that offered classes on campus and online. The transcripts do not say whether you took the class online or at the campus. The only person that knows the class was online is you and the school. I am sure it varies from school to school so you would have to check into it. I personally wouldn’t hire anyone that took all their classes online because I saw too many people graduate that had cheated through every class and didn’t know anything about their major.
I did do a paper on this topic and interviewed employers to see whether they would hire someone with an online degree. They all said yes.
